Since
1998 Horner Consulting has managerial and technical
expertise in all forms of Engineering, Robotics and Project
Management.
A 1983 graduate
of Wayne State University's College of Electrical
and Computer
Engineering, Ronald P. Horner began engineering work with
Albert Kahn Associates Architects and Engineers then later spent 14 years in project
management at Ford Motor Company involved in Automotive
Assembly Plant renovations and new model program launches
throughout North America. From automotive assembly lines to
developing fiber optic communication systems to building
utility systems, Mr. Horner has been involved in project
management of jobs whose timing and budgets are tight.
" I worked with a
team of Engineering Special Forces where we would get the
toughest assignments that had to be dealt with quickly and
efficiently.......and that's how I liked it."
" I've always tried
to develop a mathematical business model, believing that
theoretical thinking can be applied well in industries that
too often rely on tradition and experience. The art of
managing a complex project involves more than the complexity
of the technology. Managing people and their business
interactions is where true cost containment and
project
satisfaction can be achieved. ... Ronald P. Horner "
His work specializes in
bringing differing groups of people together, finding what
the realistic goals are and using solid financial,
engineering and project management techniques to make the
project a success.
